    Edward Symes was buried with his wife in a table tomb in the late 18th century. This tomb had deteriorated and required refurbishment. The work was undertaken by Glynwoods and Plint and supported by Viridor Credits, the Nuttall Trust, the Parish and private subscription

  • Somerset Churches Quilt (3 photos)

    These pictures show images of the quilt that has been kindly donated to St Michael's church by Jane Harwood of Wells. The quilt will be raffled at the St Michael's Christmas Fair on Sat Dec 3rd 2022. You can buy squares of the quilt for 2 pounds per square at the event. Squares will be on sale prior to the Fair and can be bought by contacting Rosemary Keele (rosemary.keele@btinternet.com or 01278 769010)

  • St Michael's Banner (4 photos)

    The new St Michael’s banner was created by the Parish Banner Group as part of the Promoting Education About Church Heritage project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. It was blessed at a service in St Michael’s Church on 23rd May 2021.
